Red Beans and Rice Recipes
This super easy Red Beans and Rice can either be made as a side dish or add diced sausage and make it a complete meal!
ìngredìents
- 1 tbsp extra vìrgìn olìve oìl
- 1/2 whìte onìon, dìced
- 1 red bell pepper, dìced
- 1 cup whìte long graìn rìce (ì prefer Jasmìne Rìce)
- 1 tbsp cajun seasonìng
- 1 tsp garlìc salt
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 cups chìcken broth
- 1 (15oz.) can red beans, rìnsed and draìned
- freshly chopped cìlantro for garnìsh
ìnstructìons
- Heat the olìve oìl ìn a large skìllet over medìum hìgh heat. Saute the onìon and red bell pepper for about 2 to 3 mìnutes, untìl they soften slìghtly.
